Well, this is where it all started off in January 2014, with our first session attracting 34 runners at Goals (our first venue) before escalating to around 90 runners on some Tuesday evenings within a few months.
It was no surprise that we were going to have to form an affiliated running club from numbers like this, so SLGR was founded in June 2014 to satisfy the demands of our runners.
Now based at Dartford Cricket Club, every Tuesday evening Brian and Dawn hold sessions for beginners, improvers and those returning to running, with SLGR being the pathway for those runners who wish to compete in the club’s colours.
